Tim & Meggie | Wedding Photography in Lakeland
Thursday, September 1st, 2011Tim and Meggie – Happily Married! Such a beautiful wedding held in Lakeland uniting two families all the way from Alaska to Florida. Meggie relocated from Alaska a few years ago to start a new chapter in her career as a personal trainer and along the way met and fell in love with the man of her dreams. Tim is a proud UF Gator as well as accomplished architect. The festivities of their day were curbed a little bit by the rain, but nevertheless, enthusiastic, elegant and topped off with a great band and lots of dancing.

Thursday, July 14th, 2011Cari and Joseph’s special day almost got rained out, but at the last minute, the weather decided to cooperate by holding the rain and giving us sunshine. They had a beautiful, intimate set up on St. Pete Beach and everything went just picture perfect.
Rain or Shine | Ryan & Abi
Friday, May 27th, 2011Ryan and Abi’s wedding is one of the “Plan-B” weddings. It was a beautiful day to start with, but God rained his tears of happiness as Ryan and Abi united. They had to move the ceremony inside to the reception ballroom. Regardless of the weather, the wedding went as smooth as can be.
The couple looked gorgeous and the location was just as beautiful, which was the icing on the cake. What I loved so much about this wedding was how even though the ceremony had to relocate from outdoor to indoor, Abi and Ryan remained laid back and calm. They reflected so much happiness and love throughout the whole day and future to come.
Ryan and Abi are two amazing individuals. They have so much love in their hearts and shared it with all their guests. I was fortunate enough to get a piece of that love as both Ryan and Abi treated me like their friend all day long. Here are some of my favorites for the day.
Mike & Becky married!
Tuesday, May 17th, 2011Mike and Becky began their lives as husband and wife on April 30th during an elegant Orthodox ceremony. There were lots of symbolic traditions which made it a truly unique wedding. Both of them looked stunning and were glowing the whole day! It was a pleasure to be a part of this very special occasion and I wish them all the best as a happily married couple!
Spirit FM 90.5 Wedding Reception Re-Deux
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011Spirit FM hosted a very special night as couples won a chance to attend by sharing their wedding reception bloopers. The evening included fun couples games, dancing, yummy food, and most importantly a time of renewing wedding vows. It was a great turnout and Sweet Lighting Photography was privileged to be a part of this meaningful event.

Gordon & Gloria – America and Germany united!
Friday, December 10th, 2010This couple has a unique story of uniting cultures and nations. Gloria lived in Germany and met Gordon while he was stationed there in the Air Force. She left her family and country to join her lover and they tied the knot at a beautiful wedding in Zephyrhills, Fla. This couple has so much life and energy…it was one of the most fun receptions we have ever seen including a musical chairs game with over 70 people!
